Models be careful for scams or sticky situations: (Looking 4 legitimate agency/work on east coast ohio etc

As a former model who simply got discovered at an airport in Las Vegas by a small agency everything was paid for! But I got in a sticky situation and was put in an uncomfortable situation! I was on my way to the airport in columbus to fly out to AZ and go to my breast augmentation appointment (which i did not get) and stay for a few weeks I was told the agency had a home health nurse that would take care of me for the first few days becuase the type I was having done I wouldnt be able to move my arms up to high. On my way to the board the plan 2 hrs from my home I received a call from the owner and my manager of the "bond Agency"( cant find it anywhere on the web) he told me that the nurse that was supposed to take care of me couldnt make it but he would take the best care of me and he knew exactly when to give me my meds etc....Immediatly I got a gut feeling to not go. So I cancelled and went home. They also wanted me to do body doubles and voice overs for porn. I dont mind artfully nude pictures or implied nude but I am not the girl who is going to "screw" her way to the top. The reason Im telling this story is so other models will be aware! And be careful!

Now with that said does anyone know of any reputable agencies or mags to submit to on the east coast or any ideas on how to get started besides my port. Im working on it now! Thanks so much once again for everyone who has been so kind here and offered advice you guys rock!

how to find a reputable agency 

A not so current list of agencies 

Was the "agency" wanting you to get breast enhancements?  What kind of modeling?  Most fashion models are smaller than a size 2, lifestyle models around a 4, maybe 6.  Large breasts are usually only wanted for things it sounds like you don't want to do. 

Best thing you can do is spend some time on the Model Mayhem newbie section of the forums.  You don't have to have an account to just read up on the large amount of very useful information.

yes breast enhancements paid for porno voice overs but wanted to make my pics seem innocent had a onemodelsplace.com account they did it all. And I now cant find the agency anywhere I was a size 3 then now im a 6.... thanks for the info i appreciate it!

onemodelplace.com is a really good place if you want to go into porn or other adult venues.  Not so good if you want to keep your clothes on.
