Silly things we did as children.. and tried to lie our way out of it...

So I was at Pin-ups getting my hair done today.. and after a discussion with Cassie Wanda, and threats from Rob to out me first..

What are some of the funny things you did as a kid that you tried to get out of.. even tho it was OBVIOUS something was up-or you justified with lame excuses?


When I was about 4.. I was playing in my parents room.. and I came across a giant tub of Vaseline of my mom's. So I proceeded to cover my entire face with it. Mid-slather.. my brother walked in to my parents room to find my face covered in about a half inch thick layer of the stuff all over my face. He proceeded to crack up, and ask what I was doing.. to which I innocently replied.. "I wanted my face to be shiny!!!"

Alright kids.. anty up.. let's see who has some prize-winning stories...

Haha.. well at least he was nice and didnt give you any to chew on! I dont think I could have said the same for my brother if we would have been in the same scenario..

When I was about 9 years old I found a pack of tampons in my brother's room(he turned just turned 14)and wanted to know what they were(I was totally oblivious!).He proceeded to tell me that it was bubble gum!
I believed him since the packaging was all these playful bright colours,exactly the way you'd expect candy wrappers to look!

I kept begging him for one(what I thought was gum) but he kept refusing till my mom walked in and I told her my brother wouldn't share his gum with me.She was rather surprised to see what it was!!!!Apparantly some kid at school gave it to him for his bithday.

It took me a while to eventually figure out that what I thought was gum was indeed a pack of tampons(it only dawned on me several years later >_<)

Okay here goes........."I Have Always Been a Glitzy Girl" and this story proves it.

When I was three or four years old. I loved GOLD & SILVER shiny objects. (Sill DO!!!) I would gather things from around the house and stash them under the sofa cushion. But when things went missing I didn't tell. Until I was caught and the things were found. My Grandfathers Watch, Pieces of foil from sticks of gum, Shiny crystal looking rocks, Pieces of aluminum foil.....Moms Rhinestone Jewelry. LOL
