Pinup Names

Hello! I'd like a stage name for my pinup modeling...
I was wondering how some of you got yours and how i may find one that flows and suits me well. My name is Maria :)

My real name is Michelle and my last name was sooooo not a pin up sounding name. So I thought of one of my favorite movie stars Marilyn Monroe. Then used one of her character names from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and got Lorelei Lee.
Like the others said just think of things you like whether it be movie stars, pin up models, foods, nicknames, etc. You will think of something fantastic!

Heather is really my first name, Zombie is not really my last name, haha. I chose zombie because I lovelovelove zombie films. Although "zombie" is not much of a pinup name, it has just stuck with me & that's what everyone knows me by! I thought about adding something else to it to make it sound more classy, but I have yet to find something to go with it! [as in Heather Zombie ______]

this thread made me think about my nickname, even tho i dont model (as a pro)... I came up with the idea of how i c myself as a pinup, n i thought of the teacher-like appearance, cuz im actually a teacher, n im sweet and i look as most socially accepted i can because of that. But i always add my bit of sensuality, course.
Anyways, thanx for comin up with this one, its quite interestin to think about it, and fun!
Oh, yes, I changed my name to simply Ms. Andrea cuz i think its a sweet way to address to your teachers, by their first name ^ ^

mine comes from my grandfathers last name(Franklin-Frankie) Von is short for Yvonne who was my first dance teacher and i spell Dahl the way i do because of The Black Dahlia, so Frankie Von Dahl...so just take it from your life of things that are of interest to you!

Cassie Wanda = My first name.
I toyed with Cassie California for a bit though but never made the change.

Mimi is a shortened version of my real name, I went through high school being called Mimi or Kiki, but Mimi was easier to get used to.

DuBois comes from the fact that i like to have a drink occasionally and after blanche dubois played by vivien leigh :D

Over here in the UK, there's a drag queen called Myra DuBois, but that's the closest to my name i can find. She also happens to be a friend of mine that i didn't realise til the other day!

My deceased mother's name was Betty Ann and it just so happens that I love Lucille Ball... so once I finally sat still long enough and listened to my heart it came to me..... it was so simple and perfect!

My real name is Brittany Rock, so I almost went with Bettie Rocker [like Bettie Crocker] because cooking and baking are two of my favorite hobbies. But I really wanted to use my actual last name and a lot of people call me B. Rock because that's how my name appears in the system at the company I work for. So my boyfriend suggested Bea Rock, and I felt it needed to be longer, so I added the "miss".
