So I know lot of ladies have a "pin up names" but do you really need one? For like instance my name is Ginger that is my birth name and I think that would work nicely.. What do you think? And if you have a "pinup name" what is it and how did you come up with it?

I do have a pin up name but it's also my roller derby name (that is, it's the name I want to use when I finally get to try out for roller derby). Derby names need to be catchy and Betty Rage expressed my interests and describes me to a T I think. I love Ginger though, my name is Samantha and nothing seems to work with that, I've tried. So you are very lucky I think :)
My pin up name came from three sources. Lolita from the book and movie, because people guess my age wrong and think I'm younger then i am, I love Gothic Lolita, and there's a song I love called Lolita. But I don't think you really need a pin up name if you feel your name works well. I think it's a fun thing to do but not a requirement. Ginger is a really cute name and puts in my mind one of my favorite actresses Ginger Rogers
I need a pin up name too. Mostly, people call me by my chef nickcname: Barracuda. Even though, its not my real last name! the reasoning? in a room full of men working on the line, I have to be tough, even if I am sweet in the inside. So, Ive been bouncing around with Barracuda, needing to add something to it to make it a little sweeten and spicy. Any ideas ladies?
You could just play off of what you have and go with Barra Cuda :)

I always love to see the fun names that people come up with.  I have used JessieRox for years just for fun so it seems natural to keep it.  If you don't mind me asking, what is your middle name?

Hehe, You could take a little bit Ginger and a little bit Mary Ann and be Ginger Ann :-D  (Sorry, I know I'm corny)

Well good :-D and its ok, I like being cheesy and corny.  I love your hair and it does make me think of Ginger Grant, plus the flirty, yet sweetness of your photos makes me think of Mary Ann, soooo not a complete shot in the dark.  lol :)

Gignger is perfect for you. I like having a pinup name, it's almost like a Totem Name... It's a way to express your pinup self!

I like "Ginger". But if you want something more distinctive...

Ginger Caprice

Ginger Laine

Ginger Leigh

Try to find something that describes you best (witty, sparkling, warm, roguish, naughty...?) and mold your name around it... You can also use a word from another lanquage, that can add to the feeling you want to project with your name.

Good luck Ginger!

Bisous

Great idea, love it!
