We stayed away from the big box stores. We went to Gamestop and Hollywood video. When we got home, we put the fireplace on and then spent the rest of the day snuggled up on the couch as a family watching movies. When dinner came...we ate leftovers.

I bought a vintage tobacco tin because it said "Golden Brown, Fully Ripe" and a small Elvgren book. The tin is great... it fits business cards and a few little makeup items. Both gifts for self. This year I plan on getting all my gifts in-state/locally made to help the local economy.

Brunch at Snooze, hand-made chocolates from a local shoppe, some cones for my Christmas smoker from a lovely German lass, a nonfat latté (Starbucks), two books (Barnes & Noble), and dinner at a local diner. Fell asleep watching Hitchcock on TV. Not a bad day at all!
