Hawaii?

Dear me, dear me...  The hubby just got orders to Hawaii.  It's crazy exciting, yes, but I am very nervous.  That's a huge move with two small children and a huge dog and so much further away from my family than I've ever been!  Eeep!  I would love to meet some new friends there and was hoping there may be some fine souls on here that live there too.

Are you aware of the mandatory quarantine for pets? Hawaii is rabies free and they take great measures to keep it that way. You need to do some research before you take your family pet there.Read up a bit on the link below. Good luck!

We've already started the process with our dog.  It's a huge long confusing process too.  But whatever it takes to get him there.

You're welcome. I just thought I'd put that out there in case you did not know. I've had a few friends who were talking recently about moving there with their pooches but they knew nothing about it until I told them. Better to know and be prepared. Hope the move goes smoothly.
