So I was fumbling around on Amazon and came across this:

Westmore Beauty Book

 

It's by Bud Westmore, who was a HUGE name in movie makeup and hair back then. It was originally published in 1956 and I can't wait for it to get here! I'm curious though, does anyone have this?

You lucky dog!! I am NOT lucky enough to own this book, but I DO have a Westmores of Hollywood (featuring Miss Monroe) ad up in my bathroom, their lipstick was a quarter!!

 

I just might have to order this book myself, lemmie know how rockin' it is when it shows up will ya?

I have it, but I haven't done anything but glance through it yet. I have a stack of vintage beauty books, one day I'll get to all of them. Let me know what you think of it, if it's good I'll have to move it to the top of the stack.
