I Don't Drink Alcohol Beverages...

   I quit drinking alcohol beverages about 2 months ago (they just made me a real idiot, really).

 

But I still love the vintage look and such, but don't want to drink. Because I know I see quite a bit of vintage models with a glass of wine in their hand, in some of the vintage magazines that I have/had.

 

Is this okay to still be inspired, but without the alcohol?

If you wish to use a glass of wine in a shoot, why not substitute it with Ribena or some other juice eg grape or cranberry.

Just because you have a glass of wine in your hand for a shoot, does not mean you get to drink it ;)

I would say yes! There doesn't have to be a glass of alcohol in a picture and you certainly don't have to drink it if you don't want to!

i say skip the glass!  we don't // well i don't toss a cigarette in everyone's hands.  it was once considered glamerous, but now its just typically considered gross.  be true to you and you'll make it work.

if you like the look, then use the glass filled with grape juice. to make faux highballs you can mix a little black and orange food coloring in with water, it gives it a perfect "brandy" look to it. regular old water looks like a vodka martini every time! Do you always drink/eat your props? of course not. they're just that, props! :) Enjoy shooting!

Honey I haven't drank alcohol in a looong time.  But like Honey B said props are props. You can use all kind of things to sub the drinks place. ;)

Of course its okay!!!! In all actuality its even better, in my opinion.
I don't drink either. Just because I never liked it.
Iam able to go out and have a great time with friends ( who do drink)
And lets face it.. Being the clear headed person amongst a bunch o' drunks can be pretty entertaining!
ONLY YOU WOULD KNOW THE TRUE CONTENTS OF YOUR GLASS WHEN USING PROPS FOR A SHOOT.
Alcohol certainly wouldn't make you anymore FIERCE than you already are, honey.
