I've been out of circulation for a long time, since Halloween, I think. Well, I'm back now and rearing to go with some new ideas; I'm on a major Steampunk kick right now, and l'm looking  to create a wardrobe on a college students' budget (money's even tight with my parents right now, what with BOTH college-going kids moving into/looking for a place away from home).

I need to find a new pair of Victorian boots, since mine broke during Balticon (very sad). My shoe needs are ridiculously specific, thus very difficult to meet: size 5 1/2-6, with cushy soles because I put a lot of pressure on the balls of my feet, and I have a pigeon toe on my right foot, which makes walking in heels especially painful.

Amazon.com has some pretty nice ones that got good reviews, but as I said I'm trying not to pay too much.

It's a shame this Steampunk stuff costs so much; it's all so...tempting! And I STILL need to learn to sew!

If you are looking for vintage type Victorian boots you can always try etsy. I adore that site.
