I can't believe I just bought this... I am soo excited as I have never spent sooo much on anything before! I got it from sourpuss as they are having a promotional sale on for memorial day and including p&p it was $103 which is £62

Very pricey for me but I think well worth it :D I cant wait for it to arrive... im sure I wont look as good as the model lol but oh well ^-^

Anyone bought this or other deadly dames clothing? If so what do you think???

I say wear it when & where you want.  Unless it's clearly an evening dress, you can wear the retro style 'daytime' looks during the day or at night.   That's a good question--fashions have become so casual over the last few decades.  Example: I used to wear beautiful suits and dresses to work every day for 10 years in the 90s but when 'business casual' came into being, I felt overdressed.  Am not buying new casual clothes for work, so I'll probably just keep wearing my old but nice stuff.  I say to wear what you like, when you like as long as it's generally appropriate.

@ Trudaughter - EVERYWHERE!! The obvious places being car shows, diners and rockabilly music gigs, but use your imagination! It's always nice to get dolled up, so consider wearing them to places like family picnics, spa/shopping days with the gals, date night with the spouse (regardless of where you go, I wore a wiggle to a hockey game once!) or even to the farmers market to pick up some veg. If you feel great, you won't look silly, even if you're at the 711 ;p And if anybody looks at you like you're crazy, they're just jealous, I mean, just look at their Crocs and over sized T-shirts and you'll know where it's at.

I love to dress up randomly, it's expected that you'll wear a PUG dress to Viva, but break it out for a day of yard sale pillaging or grab an ice cream with the kids in one, you'll feel like a million bucks and will have plenty of people confirming it!

I too debated where I could where this and it was definately a split in the head/heart department, but i figured that I'd make time to wear it and find excuses. Ive lost 49lbs and 10 inches off my waist since I had my baby 2 weeks ago and want to celebrate my new body in a beautiful dress.

So ladies, I have a question. I too love lookin fabulous, but once u've got the gorgeous dress, where do u wear it? Help me out, gimme some ideas.
gorgeous!!!
I meant 20 inches and 8 weeks ago duuh baby brain mode!!
I agree with Ida.  Sometimes I run errands in belly dance practice attire (black tango dance pants and lacy black top) after class and I sashay around Safeway like I'm all that and I try not to laugh at myself.  I get looks (interested ones, mainly), but it's funny to me.  You'll look great in the new outfit and you should enjoy wearing it.
Cute dress!!  I'm sure you will look lovely, too! One of the reasons I love pinups is that all shapes and sizes look great in pinup clothes. All pinups are beautiful!  Hope you post some pictures with the dress!
Beautiful retrolicious dress!! Enjoy!! Happy Memorial Day!! :)

According to the one and only Dita... "it is better to be over dressed than under dressed"! For most of us, that's a challenge but a fun one! I can't help picturing Dita over-dressed to do the garden work in the largest possible brimmed hat, cateye shades and rhinestone garden gloves but then again, this is a lady that claims to clean a room with a glance. hee hee!
