You may have seen commercials for this product. You're supposed to be able to "buff" your hair away.
smooth away hair remover Pictures, Images and Photos
You literally rub clockwise three times, then counter-clockwise three times, like "wax on, wax off" and the hair is supposed to magically disappear - no pain!
Well, it's painless, but it also doesn't remove any hair. At the most, it might exfoliate your skin a little bit. I spent less than $10 on it, so it's not a huge loss, but still I don't like to get ripped off.
Don't waste your money!

I've always wondered! Thanks for posting this Cherri!

I use this for my arms only! It works fine for me, but I wouldnt try it on my face, and have not used it on any other part of my body but my arms. To me, that would be like using sand paper in my face. I used to shave my arms but now that I use this, it comes back softer, doesnt grow back as much hair. The main reason I like it so much is that it doesnt have that stubble feeling when it does grow back.  Dont feel bad about it not working on you.  It didnt work for one of my friends, so your not the only one.

I tried it. Works on very fine hair (arms, face), NOT on coarse hair in certain other  areas. I had a feeling it wouldn't work when I bought it, but what can I say? I'm a sucker for new products.
I tried these when they first came out in the UK. I have to agree! they were awful. I literally exfoliated to the point of it damaging my skin. I followed the instructions to the letter for sensitive skin, well until it began to exfoliate too much. I had to stop before I could complete it. I think I managed the first three rubs. Its not like I purposely over exfoliated, carried on when it seemed to go wrong or was being stupid about it. Guess my skin is too sensitive to handle it.

Defiantly not a product I would recommend!
when i 1st saw this i laughed. you can shave you legs in less time and just go on about your day. plus i have sentive skins so i would never rub anything on it to get rid of hair that looked like a gaint nail file
I bought these (probably under a different name) an undisclosed number of years ago, and I was SO disappointed to see them come back. Less of a hair removal process than they are fine-grit sandpaper! Save your skin and use them for shop projects instead.
Might as well just use real sandpaper - haha. I was very disappointed by these as well.... I'm always looking for a pain-free alternative to shaving, but I don't think they exist :( Back to waxing for me!
I used this about 8 years ago when it first came out and it sucked then.  Surprising that it still sucks now.  Guess they didn't improve it any.
