The entries should be kitschy and fun, embodying the vibe of Vegas from the Hangover to the Strip. I'll answer this one myself.

Indeed I am one of the site creators, however I didn't submit an entry myself and never will.

Kitty Kin-Evil, one of my clients is the one who won, we shot in Las Vegas specifically for this contest.

The contest voting platform is completely closed and 100% automated, there is no way to modify votes, or to sway it in any way shape or form. In fact, the winner is even automatically emailed the second it ends. It's also important to note that this is not the first PL contest I have a photo in. I lobbied for votes out of pride for one of my photographs being entered just like every photographer has the power to do so. Additionally I heavily used the share feature to blast it out on my facebook.com/pinupedson twitter.com/omgedson and tumblr @ omgedson.tumblr.com .

Kitty shared it much more than me on a daily basis on her profiles: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=604360461, I can assure you I'm as proud of her winning as I could be. Even more proud that she chose to submit MY shot. I keep my photography completely separate from my role in the operation of the site, thats a guarantee.

The way our contest is designed, you really cant "game" the system, its open to the general public with no registration needed, casual browsers from around the entire WORLD can and do vote on what they feel a connection with. We do notice the strong sharers and those with lots of friends come out strong from the gate, but that is ALWAYS leveled out over time letting the best images rise to the top. All you have to do is take a look at the track record of winners, huge industry names have been trumped by up and comers and others from around the world. We pride ourselves in fairness and this is why you'll never see a submission from myself.
