Im 15 weeks pregnant(3 almost 4 months) and my boyfriend and I live with his parents because we can't afford to rent a house and he hates appartments. Well his parents have mice and roaches and I find it disgusting that they are ok living with them and they don't do anything to get rid of them. When I talk to him about leaving he says we can't afford it but we could if we rented an apartment. So is it bad that I just told him we(all three of us) need to be moved out by the time the baby comes and his answer is no were gonna seal off the room and animal proof it. So I tell him no if were not out of here by the time the baby come were(me and baby) are out of here because mice are gross and roaches are foal and cause harm to young ones and are just nasty. Was this mean of me to say because now I feel like the bad guy and the look on his face is I just ripped his heart out and fed it to the wolves.

Getting out of there is a requirement.  The health and safety reasons have already been stated.  Also consider what the state would do if they found a baby living in those conditions.  Better to hurt dads feelings than risk having to goto court to get custody of your baby back.
