Sex Percentages in American Woman

A recent survey gathered the following information about American woman:
* 17% have tried bondage.
* 20% have used a blindfold.
* 30% have had anal sex.
* 62% masturbate (usually 3-4 times a week).
* 40% use vibrators.
* 14% look at online porn.
* 70% need clitoral stimulation to slide into home plate.
* 18% opt for oral sex.

Am I the only one that is shocked by these percentages? Take into consideration that this is referring to the entire population of women in America and not just a secluded surveyed group...

I mainly find this all so absurd because of all the videos that I've seen strewn throughout the net, of people doing completely bizarre sexual acts... one guy one jar, for example. Women being hung from the ceiling via rope being tied around their boobs, for another. And, don't even get me started on sex machines. Stuff like that, that people are actually in to and far past "just experimenting". You'd think with all the crazy crap that's on the internet, the percentages of women so much as using a vibrator or opting to be blindfolded would be WAY higher. Those things aren't "kinky" at all, to me. Look at all the fetishes out there... there are people out there that get off to popping balloons, for f*ck's sake!

What the hell are American women doing in the bedroom then? Either a hell of a lot of women lied or that many women don't get any pleasure during sex, and I really wouldn't be suprised if it was the latter, although it is probably some combo of both. Either way its pretty sad.

People are having such boring sex ! If you have lived, and had sex you have at least tried all of that stuff. I know I have and I know I have my favorites ! Why such hangups, really people it is only sex and if you allow yourself to enjoy it you may even have ALOT of fun LOL.

I think its probably quite accurate. There are a lot of religious folk in America to whom masturbation would be considered a sin, which then pretty much rules out most of the other stuff. Also think about the high number of women who fake it in bed. Plus you have to think there are some men who really don't care for their woman's opinion or satisfaction in bed.

At my work our conversation often drifts onto sex and I'm surprised how little people around me have done. I assumed a bit of home video was pretty standard, but only one other girl has ever filmed anything.

I think if people remain vanilla regarding sex it's fine.  What's dangerous is the thought process behind that decision coming from religious guilt, gender discrimination, and just plain ignorance. An open mind doesn't mean that you have open legs.  lol

LOVE THIS COMMENT!! I completely agree that an open mind doesn't have to mean open legs! you can still explore your sexuality and try new things without sleeping with everyone... just because a woman  is interested in different types of sexual behaviors doesn't make her a slut.
