How to change order of pics on my page, etc

HI-

How can I control the order of the pics in my slideshow on my page so that it isn't shown to people visiting my page automatically with newest first?

What is the difference between a pic I put on my page that anyone can see when they visit my page, and pics that are shared to everyone by the site itself? Or is there a difference?

Also: Is there anyplace to read up about "everything about managing your pics?" Like how to move them into albums and other stuff for the totally inexperienced/people who have never used a social network/ myspace etc before?

You open your photo album, hit the Edit Album link, then you just drag them around on the right side of your page in the small window, drag the image you want to move, where you want it to be. It's not the cleanest interface at the moment but will be improving soon.

So, the "automatic slideshow" that starts on one's page can't be edited; that is in order of when the pics were added- one can only edit "photo albums", and photo albums have to be clicked on to start- is that right?

That's correct, Katherine. The slideshow displays photos in order of upload date, beginning with the most recent.
You can, though, edit the slideshow to only display photos from a specific album.

so i can create an album, and then I can make that album start automatically? so people do not have to click on it in order to make it start?
