Glenn here. Suzie just showed me this and personally, I was appalled. Oh it was funny, depending on which way you looked at it. But what about the ladies who were willing to pose for those pictures originally, then found out those photos were used out of context in a satire? They may not see it as funny. If so, will they ever be willing to pose again for someone?
Yes, you can say that if you’re willing to post it, then you should be prepared for the negative side of that decision as well as the praise. But I think it takes a lot of guts to get in front of a camera and say “take my picture”; then even greater guts to post it.
We’re new at this. Recently, Suzie bought me a book on glamour photography by Nigel Holmes, as well as several of his DVD’s and I must say, his models are not Victoria Secret to begin with, but when he’s done with his photos, they sure look like it! Isn’t that the point of pinup photography?
We joined PL to learn about pinup as a joint hobby as husband and wife and we’ve had a blast. I though PL was a society that promoted that adventure. I think the video discourages rather than encourages a woman, who somewhere out there, someone thinks is absolutely gorgeous, to say “please take my picture”.
