Facebook Deleted

Hello fellow pinup lifestylers!!!

I just wanted to update that my facebook was deleted due to someone complaining about certain photos I believe had nothing at all wrong with them besides being classy pin up shots. this seems to be happening to a lot of people! but due to this I lost all my contacts so if we were friends on facebook please look me up 'paricia bee' and add me back. thanks so much.

 

All photographers that I was in the middle of discussing shoots with know that im still interested and looking forward to working with you all!

Same thing happened to me. 5500 friends and fans lost (I'm still bitter). Hope you can get them all back. I'm still struggling!

Oh my!!!!!! goodness! its so frustrating! I tried to add people back but then fb put me on 2 day suspension from sending out friend request! im so mad!!!!

That sucks and is all too common, i'm still amazed at how many people I see get completely deleted only to come back again and again, I know one person on profile #4. I think what might be even more amazing is they never badmouth FB and just come right back lol.

I'm so sorry that happened to you! There are always a few really nasty people that are so frustrated and unhappy with their own lives they want to drag others down along with them I'm being trashed online right now by maybe two people, but they are causing such a big stink and saying really hateful things about me! Keep your chin up, the bad people eventually get tired and disappear.

Mary, I've seen you collaborate on many projects and stay active in the industry, it's sad to hear that someone would try and trash your efforts.

Nasty people eventually get found out for what they are. True, genuinely nice people, will shine through in the end. Putting up with the nastiness is just a pain!

that's just messed up (I'd use an explicative instead but the madams might come after me)

 

not just the fact that you got deleted but then all the hard work that was done networking is just completely lost.

Facebook needs a better avenue for this... go after these people who have nothing better to do that muck with people

That's horrible! I know I will be deleted too, just a matter of days now..people are always reporting my images..

You should get a tumblr and link from there, or upload here and link on there, that's what I do a lot now.

NOOO! You can't be deleted! I honestly don't understand why anyone reports your photos (and I really don't understand why facebook believes all these reports without even looking at the photos.)

I can't go a day without seeing someone on Twitter complaining of having their Facebook account deleted. John's right, it's more than just the hassle of having to re-upload - that's a lot of quality networking lost. Sad.

Seems way too easy to have an account deleted there. Not to mention the fact that they never even tell you! That's why small niche communities like PL are the future of networking. People will eventually get tired of wasting their time making up new names with which to create new Facebook profiles, only to be removed once again.

Mary i hate to hear that people are trashing your name!!! that makes me soo upset! People need to just stop! i really dont understand why people have to go out of their way to be mean or make things a hassle for others.. theres really no reason for it all!
and Dolly so true! the mean people will lose in the end and the nice genuine people will still be shining..

Missy i cannot believe people report your work! Your work is truly so amazing There is nothing wrong with your art and that truly makes me mad when people report an artist such as yourselfs work! Pin up is the classiest you can get! I feel if people dont like the images then dont look at them no one is making them! I just cant believe that fb would just delete somones stuff! i was soo mad when my photos with Marilee Caruso (which are posted on the pg here and see nothing wrong with them) got deleted! Some nerve! but thanks for the advice im going to sign up for a site like tumblr to post my photos there instead so i dont have to go through this again!
