Keep fit with Roller Derby!

Hey!

Just wondered if anyone else here plays roller derby?

Until recently I played for RWRG but had to leave due to it being quite far away. I miss it so much though and it kept me so fit and healthy. The gym is not as fun!

yayh!!!! DERBY GIRLS... i joined derby in MAY.2010, and have been skating since... i love it.. i love that at first i totally sucked and the other girls on my team kept smiling at me and helping me...
i have moved so far from training on vintage parks and rec rental skates- now i have GOOD pads and PRO Sure GRIP-REBEL skates, and i am RIPPING up the track.... - obviously STILL LEARNING, but MY GOD what a work out, and it is great to make some friends with simmiler interests...
my team has been together for 2 years, (i joined this may),. and we are FINALLY bouting this spring!!! we are so excited to start bouting!!

I'm currently on a recreational training league called the Minnesota RollerGirls' Debu-Taunts. :) My coaches are all MNRG skaters, and they really whoop my butt into gear and keep me looking good! Roller derby is the best thing I've ever done, for both physical and mental health benefits. it's also the ONE thing i know is a necessity in my life no matter where i am or what i'm doing, i know that there will be derby involved in my life. i'm so happy to know there's other skaters on this site! <3
