Here we are at the end of 2010, and today while I was bored out of my mind and reading old fashion magazines I starting thinking about the best, and worst trends of the decade. So I'm wondering, what were your faves, and what do you wish had never been invented?

A few of my favorites were:

Crazy bedazzled phones!Online Shopping

And SPANX!!!!

My least favorite trend, hands down, is ugly ass CROCSSo lets hear it, what are your favs and hates from the last 10 years?

I live in Essex, UK and there's a LOT of bad stuff over here:

*Crogs

*Ugg boots EVERYWHERE

*Jeggings

*Leggings with no skirt/long shirt/jumper over the top (yes, we can see EVERY DETAIL of what's in your trousers! - sometimes to the extent we can see the colour and type of underwear the person's wearing)

*Body con dresses at stupid times of the year with no tights (it's SNOWING, put on tights or a jacket with your dress)

*The oompa loompa look http://thebuzzmedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/over-tanned-oran...

*Harem pants

Okay, I need to go out and get some inspiration for more! xx

Worst?

Probably Justin Voice-Yet-To-Break Bieber, all the Disney bands, agyness deyn as a style icon, androgyny and the rise in plastic surgery for purely aesthetic reasons.

OMG, HATE HATE HATE the current high-waist cut offs trend. Most unflattering shorts evarrrr! Either they're frumpy and do nothing for the wearer's figure, or they're super tight and hooker-ish!

Sorry, I just had to revisit and vent! lol

The worst trend in recent years is the "Hipster Indian" look. This is EXTREMELY RACIST and OFFENSIVE. Native Americans have not only been killed off to a mere 1% of the U.S. population, but have dealt with racial torment. Wearing poorly crafted war bonnets with no meaning other than to look vain, is not a "free-spirit" look at all, it's the exact opposite as people commit this mockery. Native people have fought to keep their cultures alive. Yes, we still exist, and yes we continue to practice such cultures. War bonnets are carefully crafted and symbolic with special meanings and if any, only one person in a tribe would wear one and women never wore them. (I do have a woman with a war bonnet on as a tattoo on my arm, however it has other meanings, it is a symbolic and representative tattoo, not a fashion statement, and didn't look like much without it) Please be considerate, this also includes "Indian" costumes on Halloween labeled like "Sexy Sqaw" which is also racist. A lot of people's response that participate in this type of trend is that "Native people think it's cool that I am representing their culture." You aren't representing crap!

American Apparel ad above ^ Disgusting

Extremely Racist ^

This thread has turned very negative. I can't believe in 10 years all people can come up with is negative stuff. This is a discussion about good and bad fashion, nothing else, let's keep it that way.
