Chafing, yep, it sucks!

*This is a problem for a lot of ladies, so I thought it would be good to re-post it again, and summer is coming up, which means events in the heat.*

I love my body, but with curves like mine, chafing is a given. If I wear a skirt all day, the insides of my thighs turn red and ichy and as sensative as a sunburn, and it doesn't go away for days.
The only thing I've found that helps is baby powder. I keep a mini bottle in my car now, but who wants to be putting that on in a bathroom stall? There is nothing glamourous about white powder stains all over your hands and stockings.
Anyone else suffer through this indigity? Any solutions yet?

-There is a company who makes a roll on for the back of your heels when you wear high heels to keep you from getting blisters. It works pretty well for chaffing. Also, deodorant (the stick kind, in white) can work really well. Depending on what dress I'm wearing, I might wear shorts or boxer briefs under my dress.

Other then that, powder is the best option.

 

-Blister Block is good, as is Monistat Anti Chafing gel.

Ugh, I hate hate hate chafing.  Honestly, powder and deodorant don't do it for me.  I wear bike shorts under all my dresses and skirts in the summer.

Monistat makes a anti chaffing cream, i have never used it but it might be worth a shot for you!

ok so my body may not look like it but damn i got some luscious thighs and there is this powder if you go online to justforfunparties.com there is this good smelling no residue powder called kama sutra honey dust. let me tell you ladies and gents it works for the chafing and the underbust problem like my mom has its a bit pricey but my moms had it for over 5 years and its not even half way gone you only need a little bit. and best of all what ever smell you get thats what you end up smellig like so it masks the sweating smell. HOPE THIS HELPS LADIES AND EVEN GENTS.

Body Glide also works well. Triathletes use it, available at many bike shops, sports supply stores, and online-- Comes in a deodorant-type stick applicator. Also works great on the back of your neck if you have to wear a clear-halter-type bra strap to keep it from getting as irritated. :)
