Favorite Holiday Memory

So, here we go again into the busiest, craziest part of the year! With Thanksgiving merely a week away, and Christmas to follow, I thought it would be fun to bring up some fun holiday memories!
I'd love to hear what everyone loves best about the holidays, or maybe some really funny/exciting things that you might remember.. or maybe some family traditions that everyone gets into! :D

i just love decorating o¨r tree back home, and my mother and i would allways bake cookies for santa, even when we all knew the secret.

Aww!! Yeah, I think decorating is one of my favorite things too! Hehe I still ask my mom if we can bake cookies for Santa .. and then we usually sit down and eat them :D

Watching it's A Wonderful Life on Thanksgiving. The one year I didn't, It was like Christmas wasn't real. It was weird.

Growing up I remember everyone getting together at my aunt and uncles house. They had converted an attatched garage into a HUGE family room. All of us kids (cousins, brothers, sisters) would get to play (and fight) all day then stay up late listening to the radio 'tracking Santa', sing songs, and at midnight open our presents.

Sadly now that we are all grown up, we all drifted apart.. But now I get to make new memories and traditions with my 2 kids :)

my warmest memory was christmas breakfast. we never had dinner together (thats when we would go to the in-laws/extended family's houses), but my moms side of the family always had a big breakfast, sang happy birthday to jesus (complete with pound cake and candles) and would open our presents. now that im so far away from the fam, christmas morning is very hard for me
