Wow that's jacked, I never really noticed how abnormally proportioned '90's Barbie's torso was! Cuz yeah, the smallest part on her waist is about where my love handles reside, my waist is quite a bit north of that.

I assume '00's Barbie is going for a more "realistic" body shape? And by realistic of course I mean all those 100% real and normal looking swimsuit models on the teev. '00's Barbie has a strange butt though (is she wearing a thong?) and her back is the perfect shape for a "I <3 Ken" tramp stamp, but look at those gams, they're a fab. improvement!!

 

Might I ask where '90's Barbie's head went?

90's Barbie looks fat, strange and disproportionate, most likely because her and Ken were very unhappy, and she was eating too much ice cream. I mean come on, white granny style panties, on Barbie!??! '00 barbie looks more proportionate, healthier and like Daniel said, she may have had some work done. Her and Ken broke up a few years ago, and I think she just got happier. I have a friend who left her husband 7 months ago, and she looks amazing now, just because she got out of an unhappy relationship.

She might've thinned around the waist but at least now she has a head.

I think I know why the head is missing off that doll, it's not Barbie. Something about it seemed very familiar, the weird torso and white panties are bugging me... and then I remembered. I got a doll that looked just like that, and I thought it was super weird when I got her.... I'm 90% sure that body type belongs to Barbie's younger, sportier cousin, Jazzie. Any girl that got a Jazzie doll would remember that strangely shaped body. She wasn't as "girlie" as Barbie, but not as "flat" as Skipper. I can't find a picture of the doll naked to prove it, but I think I still have mine, so I'm going hunting in the attic today! This is her:
