Watch this! This guy was kicked out of a water park because his tattoos were considered "offensive". Well I am pretty sure when I am at the water park there are some offensivly dress people that don't get kicked out either. I thought we had come a long way and alternative styles were becoming more accepted, but I guess I was wrong.

I'm confused as to how the people who own the water park are ignorant. They have policies in place for whatever reasons they deem appropriate. If they asked him to cover up, would it really have been that problematic to do so? And I do wonder why he refused to show the tattoo... if it couldn't be considered offensive, then why not let the news team and viewers see for themselves? Would certainly give his argument a bit more credit.
Tattoos may be accepted by some but artwork adorning the body is still unacceptable to many. While that kind of thought can be a stigma, it's the sad truth of the situation. We all have to cover up at one point or another or find places to work/hang out/play that just don't give a damn. One day it won't be such an issue, but until then we'll just have to deal with the naysayers and apply jewelry and clothing where necessary.
Personally I don't give a damn what people think of my tattoos. Although, if they don't like it, I certainly wouldn't say they were ignorant; maybe just... unappreciative of a different kind of beauty.
The report said he was there for two hours and he was seen walking around the park, so he had his two hours of fun. We don't know what else the thousand dollars paid for, but if it was food for a party, the park would have spent that money for the food and provided the labor that goes into the preparation. In other words, the party was provided for him, but he wasn't willing to follow the policies of the park and he left the party.
