I can not say that I hate bugs. I would love to have a pet tarantula but my husband is a wimp. lol
The only thing that I don't like about the lil guys is mosquitos loooove me. I just lather on a load of mosquito repellant and wah lah they leave me a lone.
When I was younger I wanted to get pet Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. I held one when I went to the zoo on a field trip and thought they were amazing. They can get huge and their defense mechanism is they hiss like a snake. How grooooovy is that? <3

important to educate oneself in knowing which are the pests and which are the ones that prey on the pests. if you start stomping out every little bug... that's when problems may begin. my other opinion: bugs belong outdoors! this post wouldn't have been sparked by any trouble with bed bugs, would it? ... a good reason not to travel at the moment! good luck with the bugs... or your fear of them.

I truly detest bugs! And it usually has nothing to do with whether or not they are a threat to me, I just don't like them! If I'm out hiking, I just ignore them or run the other way, but I must confess that when they are in my house, I usually call on the trusty ole boyfriend to come and kill them! If he's not around, I either try to shoo them outside, or quarantine the area until he gets home XD

I live on the ground level with no buffer (not a single stair or step, just open the door and you're on the sidewalk), so we get our fair share. Mostly spiders (daddy longlegs creep me out the most!), ants in the rainy season (SO annoying!). I have even seen a silverfish or two, EW! The latest development has been especially horrific: POTATO BUGS! They have got to me one of the most vile creatures to walk the earth, and they are NOT small! My boyfriend found one in the house a few weeks ago, then a few days later the dog found one and was playing with it x_x Then I found a dead one while sweeping a few days ago! UGH I just hate these things. The only thing I hate worse are crane flies (aka Mosquito Eaters, even though they DO NOT eat mosquitos)! I'm actually petrified of those, they're like daddy long legs with WINGS and erratic, frightening flight behavior!

i'm not much of a bug lover. though i found a spot in my heart for Preying Mantis bugs. they look so cool and several had decided to make my front and backdoor home last fall. plus i hear they're good luck.
ants are pesky little bastards. but before i spray them i can't help but laugh thinking of the ones from the Tom & Jerry cartoons marching for the food.

I like bugs. I like to put them in my freezer, then after they die; slather them in lacquer, chop off their legs and turn them into hair accessories.

I detest bugs. having lived in hawaii...it really only made my loathing of them worse. Can you say giant centipede....IN MY BED!? Gross. HUGE mosquitoes, giant cane spiders, yuck yuck YUCK! I try not to kill them (except mosquitoes...because they have ZERO value for the world), especially if they're outside. But if they land on me while I'm out and about? It's on like Donkey Kong. WHAP!
