Taking a vote on names, please help :)

I've been bouncing around between various names to be referred to as my "Pinup Name" or "Modeling Alias" ...I'm just so indecisive!

I've been using Raquelle Vega for a little while now, even did my first 3 shoots under this name, but I'm just not wild for it any more =/ People seem to have a hard time spelling/pronouncing my REAL first name (which I am not divulging =P), so long ago I adopted the name "Kate" when putting down dinner reservations or ordering my Starbuck's drink... it's short, cute, simple, and most of all: Hard to f*ck up! I already sort of answer to this name, and I picked it all those years ago because I liked it to much, so now I'm kind thinking of using Kate Vega as my model name.

What do you think? Kate Vega or Raquelle Vega? And is it too late to change it, now that a few photographers have already shot me (and a couple sites have already featured me) under the name Raquelle Vega?

Raquelle, to me, sounds more exotic than Kate, which sounds adorable, polite and responsible. ( all good things of course) but.....Raquelle makes me think of a girl who smokes, and shoplifts lipstick even though she can afford it.

Hahaha, I love this description XD Though honestly, if we're going by these definitions, I'm definitely more of Kate

I just wasn't sure if, with the already-exotic-sounding last name of Vega, that an exotic first name too would be too much. Like maybe it needed some balance? I dunno XD

I dont think that it is too late to change your name but I definately like Raquelle Vega much better, it is unique and fits together better than Kate Vega.

i like kate, but i think katie vega sounds better. the two sylables then the one sounds famous! raquelle is hot, but hard to hold on to, and apparently to pronounce and spell right.

I'm still torn XD Sounds like Raquelle is winning though (I'm personally not a fan of Katie =P), and it certainly would be easier to keep it than change it.

As I mentioned before, I was worried two exotic-sounding names next to each other was too much. But maybe Kate itself is simply TOO 'normal?' Maybe it needs to be something in between, lol.... I'm just not really a saucy, in-your-face kind of person. I'm more of a polite, smiling, helpful person with a dark, underlying cynical streak =P

BAH! I'm so glad we don't all have to pick our own real names too, it's such a decision!

Perhaps you could shorten Raquelle to something that's easier to pronounce and spell, yet still has an edgy ring to it? I'm thinking maybe something like Roxy Vega.
