Announcing the second edition of the highest quality pinup calendar you'll ever have in your hands. We've been successful before, it's time to do it again! Unlike our usual contests, we're giving you one month to prepare for the two-week submission period. Photographers, grab your models and Models, contact your favorite photographers.
RULES: *Only PHOTOGRAPHERS are eligible to submit. *Each entry may include up to FIVE different images. So, photographers, choose your submissions wisely! *Please upload watermarked images, however, selected images must be provided as high-resolution, UNwatermarked files for the calendar.
EDIT: ATTENTION!!!
We're super excited to announce that we have decided to open up the contest to Artists and Models!!!! To accommodate all the new submissions, we will be extending the contest for an additional week. The submission period will now end OCTOBER 7th, 2010 at Midnight PST. Voting begins at 12:01 October 8th.
Please spread the word, we're really looking forward to including some more members with this new expansion!
MODELS: If one of your images is selected, please be prepared to obtain written permission as well as a high-resolution, un-watermarked file, from your photographer. You will only have a limited time to do so once you're notified. Might as well give your photographer a heads-up now! :)
An official site announcement of the winners won't be made until we've gotten all high-resolution versions in hand, and locked in place in their layouts. That, however, should be coming very soon!
If you are a winner, be expecting an email from me in the next few days! (I'm hoping by Monday.)
The quicker we can get the emails out, high-res files in, and layout complete - the quicker you'll all know the winners! At layout time, there's always a possibility of us needing more beautiful photos. Thus, we like to wait until this process is complete before making the list of winners public!
Over 1000 entries and at this time with the current layout it looks like about 18 photos being used, don't lose hope until we release the final list!
Opportunities to be included are still available, so far we've had photographers decline to provide images to models and them arguing about use of the photos (exactly why we require the photographer themselves to email us the images), photographers decline to provide un-watermarked photos after entering the contest with the rules stating it as a requirement (failure to read, sigh), photos that could not be provided in high enough resolution (why would you delete your master files!?), photos that simply could not be provided because they were on external HDs and photographers were on the road, AND MORE!
This is why we don't release a list of winners until the layout is 100%!
