How did you decide on your "Pinup" name?

It what my husband has always called me.

well my nickname so far is dandilla. came from this guy i used to know when i gave him my phone number he was so drunk he put dandilla instead of danielle or daniella if you get it. and everbody saw his phone and asked who the f was dandilla and when he said my name well it stuck. my fiance calls me destructive dandilla but i like just plain dandilla. kinda put that everywhere

[Zomb Kat Hel]

I chose Zomb Kat Hel because 3 things:

1. Zomb is a short way in my contry to call "zombies", since i'm a little girl I love zombie... I don't know why... y feel a big attraction to death.

2. Kat: because I love cats... I have a cat tattoo (maneki-neko the japanese lucky cat) and I have my own cat, Lorenza who is my best friend. I love animals.

3. Hel: Because it was a name of a german movie character, Metropolis. Hel was a kind of strange girl who represent and joined two diferent worlds in the middle of chaos. And she had a connection with death because her name was taken from the Noruegan Folk, where Hel is the guardan of the Hell's gate. Her body is half rotten and half alive.

Everything in my name is connected, cats protect you from bad spirits (based in egypcian believe), is a goddes and represent myself. I belong from a special family who have specials skills connected with death... I don't like to talk about it. Its kind of embarazing, because not all the people believes in this things.

Well alot of ppl called me MiMi growing up so i used that and Lace is one of my favorite material to work with and wear so i added a lil something and came up with MiMi VonLace

Well, Louise is my actual middle name (it was my maternal grandmother's middle name too) and LeMans is a General Motors vehicle that was first manufactured in the 60's, plus was the name of a French city home to 2 important race tracks. I come from 3 generations of General Motors employees on my dad's side, so it felt like an appropriate way to honor where I come from.

Plus it sounds cute, who doesn't like alliteration?

About 4 years ago we all picked our "punk" names that we'd all call each other when we'd go to shows and stuff. They kinda travel with you forever, so I've always gone by Amanda-O-Rama. Amanda being my actual name and "O-Rama" came from a band called the Network that had a song called Right hand-O-Rama.. you can imagine what that's about. So I think it fits the pin up side of me pretty well

I was looking to some of my favorite old movies for some inspiration before I even started doing pinup (but of course I already knew that it was one of my most immediate goals after I turned 18). One of my very favorites is Irma La Douce with Shirley McClain and Jack Lemmon. I got on the internet looking at synonyms for words like sexy, flirty, etc. As a synonym for 'flirtatious girl' was Coquette which happened to be the name of Irma's little dog in the movie. My real first name is Kim, so the like sounds were already there with the K&C. It also fits my character perfectly, my entire life I've had a problem with apparent unintended flirting. I'm always under the impression that I'm just being friendly...

I know its kind of dorky but my name is actually a nod to Robert Rodriguez movies. That and I wanted to use my real initials somehow, E.L. It just seemed to fit.

i really wanted lily valentine, but apparently there's a pretty productive porn star by that name (oh my!), so i went with lily true. true because when my sister got married she gave me a bracelet with that engraved on it and told me it was because i was also true to myself no matter what anyone else thought.

oh and lily's not my real name, but i adore it!

My name is taken from Patrick Swayze's vintage loving character Miss Vida Bohem in the film 'To Wong Foo...'. It's one of my favourite films, I love the character and i love her name and style. I just prefered Vita to Vida!
