How did you decide on your "Pinup" name?

I LOVE all the names people come up with. Just wondering how you landed on the name you are currently using.
I'm sure you have a great story that goes with that cute name. Let's hear them!

Some of these stories are so adorable! I have no imagination at all. I could barely come up with the names of my pets, let alone a model name for myself!

My story is short: There's a song from Kate Nash called "Mariella" that basically talks about a girl that looks just like the little girl inside my mind who is really stubborn and cute And I want a really simple name but that everyone can remember.

I've gotten a lot of comments over the years that I have a "babydoll" face lol. Since I was a little girl and even today! It just kind of seemed right to become "Babydoll Brown" lol. I thought it had a nice ring to it

Well my name was just my nick name friends and family gave when I was a kid I'm such a big fan of Lucille Ball and I Love Lucy that's where you get DesiLu from Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball and for Star that's my RL middle name

My name took weeks to figure out... I knew it would have Scarlett after the Gone With the Wind character, I think she's is just so lush, and loved how sought after she was, as well as how she would doll herself up everyday and make sure to give her cheeks a pinch before opening the door... lol.
She's just so cute and powerful!
But it took me weeks to figure out a last name I loved... I had PAGES of different names and they all worked... but for some reason, the imagery Valentine gave me and how it almost sounds dark and sinister.. just fit the best.
I actually introduce myself to strangers as Scarlett Valentine on a daily basis, I love using that name over my real given name!

Mine took forever...but it really shouldn't have, considering once I came up with this one it seemed like a no-brainer. I just used my real first name and combined it with Harlequinn. Harlequinn is in reference to my favorite DC Comics character, miss Harley Quinn herself.

I tried other names but I really didn't like not using my first name. I'm sure it's all personal preference though.

Well my name is already Rita, I was named after Rita Hayworth ... but I decided to coin the Beatles song Lovely Rita as it was a great fit and "voila!" ... my Pinup name and MUA name turned into Lovely Rita. <3

Well lets see a very near and dear friend (as well as ex boyfriend) Always called me Kitten, because I'm a Sex Kitten. Aren't most women? Lol. Then he added Kaboom, So Kitten Kaboom it was! He even gifted me high heels that he pin striped Kitt'n K'Boom on. Thats his spelling for it.

Mine came from my Hubby and a inside joke of ours. Can't tell you the joke bc I'm sure no one will get it or ...... you will think were sick, which in fact we probably are. But thats the fun of a inside joke its inside! But I can tell you when we first met he would always your eyes are like voodoo which I though was really sweet and funny at the same time bc its not the first time I ever got that comment just more flattering bc for once it wasn't from a old timmer. And that was before he knew I'm part Creole. The Honey part also came from the hubby bc he wanted to do my pin up name which once again I think is super sweet and better than the one I came up with Lady T...... I'm a lady and my name starts with a T BORING lol plus he made a good point and said " What I didn't know you was related to Mr. T" so he came up with Honey Graves and I just chopped it and added the voodoo. So there ya go Honey Voodoo!

[Va Va Voom]

My name spawned from a shorter version of my real name Rosio. My name is of Mexican decent and therefore my family has always called me "Chio" as a nickname. When I became intrested in the Pin Up Industry I saw too many ladies with Car names attached as a nickname. To set myself apart I chose ....Ms. {Chi-Chi-Chi}♥Chio. ...It serves as double meaning for my god given gift of womanly well Chi chi's lol and a certain sassy mexican ring to it. like Cha Cha Cha.
