CARPOOLING FOR VEGAS TRIP!

Ok, so the rumor is that there is going to be a big shindig in Vegas...People are getting hyped and I just thought...hmmm Caravan through the desert.

We could organize carpools, people could save on gas, those that might not have been able to make would.

I don't mind organizing it, just drop a reply to this board or send me a message.

This could make for some B******' photographs along the way!

I'm not on the west coast, but I just found a plane/hotel package (VLV recommended hotel) for under $800 from Detroit to Vegas!

I'm SOOOOO gonna be there!

I'm arriving the 8th, leaving the 13th.

You don't have to be on the West Coast! That's the point of carpooling! It'd end up being cheaper than flying, plus you'd have tons of great company!!

oh I know, but I can't take that much time off :( it would take us 3 days just to get there!

It's all good, I'll fly to San Diego and Carpool from there! :D

every year except 2008 it is over Easter Weekend. Big Sandy posted a funny bulletin last year on Good Friday saying "I wonder how many people are standing around the Gold Coast wondering where everyone is?"

It lasts for 4 days...you can go Thurs through Saturday! I might have to do that this year, because my husband and I don't want to take our kids again. We've done that 3 times (my dad lives in Vegas) and this year was the first year we didn't do that and had so much more fun!
