Favorite Halloween Costume and Event to Date

Well All Hallow's Eve is quickly on the approach and I am excited. This is the one night a year we can be anyone we want and wear whatever we want out in public. I love this holiday ! Well I am a San Francisco girlie and we do take this holiday seriously here, at least we used to back in the good old ( pre-gangsta) days of the Castro Party. What a time, what a place and what fun people. The last time we went ( 2006) someone got shot at the exact place we had been 10 minutes prior and that year was the last year for Castro at Halloween.

So favorite costume? Favorite costumes to date have been "Sherlock Holmes"( Audrey style) A Deer Stalker, a perfect plaid coat and underneath a tightly laced corset, fishnets and boots. That worked well last year for sure ! Another year my husband did it up as Indiana Jones, he does the perfect Indiana Jones and I went as Russian Uber villain Irina Spalko. I do have the same hair and stature and I spiced it up again with a corset ! Hope to figure out how to upload a few photos ( I am a computer noob)

So ladies do share = ) Oh and what is happening for fun this year? Any pinup themed events in the Bay Area?

I ADORE Halloween, but I've always been the absolute worst at choosing a costume. I usually wait until the last minute and end up with something easy, like a zombie or punk rocker.

I love Halloween attractions, even though I'm a huge chicken, and I've been to some great private Halloween parties too.

Thanks doll! We're still deciding what we're going to go as this year, but I can make up costumes pretty quick! I made that Alice costume in 3 days!

For the past four years, I've been an angel, but not by choice. I worked for a haunted house in a "heaven" themed room, lol. I don't have any photos other than what I have in our year books (yes, just like high school), but I'm sure I could scan them in.
My managers were always cool and let me come in late so I could take my son trick-or-treating, but I wouldn't get off of work until around 3AM, so there wasn't much of a point in dressing up to go to any parties.
This year, however, I've decided against working at the haunted houses. I figured my pregnant ass shouldn't be inhaling any fog and/or going up and down 5 stories of stairs continuously... so, I'm trying to figure out what I want to dress up as. My tummy isn't ginormous yet, so I can still pull of "sexy"... although I'll probably tone it down, as I plan to host a Halloween party for all the kiddos whose parents want to go out and party and need a sitter.

Love your costume..I was slightly addicted to that game for a while--and really not afraid to admit that I'm a geek too!

Halloween is my absolute favorite! Before moving, I worked at the 13th Gate Haunted House for a billion years so I was usually workin' on Halloween. I got to play lots of really cool parts though--creepy deep ghost clown in the psychosis room, marie laveau (voodoo queen), padded cell occupant, straight jacket/dolly-carrying crazy gal w/ awesome teased hair, one of cleopatra's minions, vampire, zombie, just to name a few! usually we'd party it up after at the house or we would go to an annual street party all dressed up.

I never really celebrate Halloween, which is a bummer because it's my favorite time of year.

But last year was my favorite Halloween ever because I lived in Vegas, and OMG, The Vegas Strip is so much fun on Halloween just to look at everyone's costumes and see all the girls freeze their ass off in their skimpy costumes.

This is pretty much my only pic I have of me in a costume, I worked in a Haunted House in high school.
