I am going to cry when I get a tattoo in a few days. but only because I miss my friend who committed suicide last thursday. a bunch of us are getting the same skull cherries that she had on her arm. we are getting them to honour her memory and that makes us cry...not the tattooing itself.

thank you. here is a picture of her. notice the skull cherries on her forearm. we got them tattooed on us to keep her close to us. we miss her so much!

that's me. actually that is japanese. kanji for neko(cat). my old roommate, who I have known for 20 years now, is from tokyo. she wrote that out for me. she has given me a lot of maneki neko(beckoning cat) statues and other assorted japanese art things over the years. her name is Eiko. I named my kitten after her. in addition to the word neko, I am getting a bunch of Kliban cats tattooed acrss my back. first one will be a very large one. it will cover up that stupid unicorn I got 25 years ago. I was only 18 when I got it and didn't put much thought into it. if you don't know the Kliban cat, check out a site called eatmousies.com it's the official site. I have loved that cartoon ever since I was a teen. here is a picof the first cat I am getting done. the placement of the cherries on my back is right where his cat will be eyeing them as if they are a toy.

this is too funny! getting a tattoo hurts about as bad as getting waxed. not bad at all. hahaha! I told the guy who just did my tattoo the other day about this video. he said every tattoo artist in town was roaring over that video. LOL!
