I have to get up at 6am to get ready for work, and i get so lazy with my hair and outfit. I was wanting to know how you lovelies dress for work !
I work in an office, so i can't really go all out and feel uncomfortable going all out with the men in the office, but i need some inspiration !
I'll sometimes put my hair in pin curls the night before, but most of the time i get too lazy to even brush my hair haha.
Photos or comments or anything please ! I don't like feeling like a dag in a boring old suit.
I roll my hair with foam rollers the night before, use dry shampoo, and you can make a roll set last a couple days. Then you can shave some time off your morning routine.
I wash my hair ect the night before, blow dry my hair and then spray on setting lotion. Put in my large sponge rollers. (remember a hairnet or a silk scarf. we move around a lot more than we think)
When I wake up, I immediately switch on my laptop. Put on music to wake me up and I make coffee.
Cleanse, Moisturise, enjoy coffee and toast. Possibly make another coffee, and enjoy if theres time.
Make up - foundation, sometimes concealer, blush, powder, sometimes eyeshadow, liquid eyeliner, mascara, eyebrow pencil, Lipstick. In that order.
I make my own clothing, so I have a range of skirts and dresses in Black (my work requires we wear ALL black). they are all from patterns from 1952 - 1959. that's just what patterns I seem to prefer, I haven't gone out specifically just for 50's patterns.
Get dressed. Take out rollers. Brush my hair out a little bit. Sort my bangs out. Stick a flower in my hair.
Put my flats on, make sure I have my heels in my bag.
Check I have my dinner money and house keys.
All this takes me around 45min Max.
Tomorrow, Ill get my boss to take pics of me at work. (day off today, YAY!)
I used to manage a Hot Topic store, so I did get to go all out everyday! It was amazing! I now work in childcare, so I tend to tone it down. 4 year olds don't care, and would be hard to chase in heels! So I just use mineral powder over my moisturizer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. I always do a small wing just so I feel like myself, but nothing over the top. I add lipgloss and makeup is done!
As for clothing, I have to cover my tattoos. So I tend to wear jeans, but I roll the bottoms and wear creepers with them to maintain my own style! It works for me, but I miss being able to wear skirts or dresses everyday!
I'm a stay at home mom, so I don't do much in my every day look. But I do still like to be presentable, you never know who might stop by. When I did work it was with special needs kids, and they really don't care what you look like, but I still took the time to brush my hair and put it up, wear some powder, and just be... pretty. Not all done up, but enough, you know?
The important thing to remember is when you leave the house, you never know what might happen or who you might see. So you should always looks good enough to meet your next boyfriend, and make your ex boyfriends new girl jealous. LOL
I work in an office of a set construction company - about 65 men and 4 women. I don't want to get too dolled up either because its a busy dusty shop. I usually wear pencil skirts, cardigans, capris, blouses, etc. Sometimes I curl my hair if I have time in the am, if not a pomp and ponytail. Makeup is a lighter version of my pics. Kind of the same but without the eyelashes and deep red lip.

YES!!!! This is why your mother also said make sure you're wearing clean underwear. YOU JUST NEVER KNOW! Hahaha
I'm a manager in a restaurant so I can't wear everything I like. Usually I wear pencil skirts and shirts or blouses, I have few dresses not completely pin up, but I try to accessories a little
No high heals of course - Health & Safety:/ Most of the time I have ponytail but sometimes I go "crazy" and curl my hair like on the photo:D Not to much make up - foundation, mascara, light eye shadows and lip gloss.
