This is my theory as well. I teach sensual fitness and pole dancing a few times a week, and we've incorporated some pole into our burlesque show this coming weekend. (There is a pic in my profile from dress rehearsal on Sunday) It is really a great way to build muscle and core strength, all the while looking fluid and sensual. I'm a giant fan.

This I will say, women who can do this have major skills. But the fact that some states allow under-aged women to be strippers, and that pole dancing is mostly in this day and age shown in a negative almost prostitution-like stigma ... I say NOT. I want to believe that in it's start/beginning, though you're clearly on a pole busting moves, there was more class and "awww" brought forth, nowadays if it isn't based clearly on just pure skill and prowess it's seen as raunchy and embarrassing. These ladies on this video show skill, plain and simply. But, because these ladies are gifted and it's brought forth as a sport I don't necessarily find it attractive or hot, I find it as a skill that's lengthy to obtain and it's an art form. I don't find modern strippers/pole dancers hot, mainly because it's portrayed as a less fortunate female trying to make a buck and portrayed as a desperate circumstance. There needs to be more mystery, class, and showmanship brought back into it and not a quick *f*ckable* quality like it is these days. Change it up, make it more presentable and respectable ... and we're game! Never forget or deny the art form of burlesque! There's always room and growth for pole dancing and I hope it becomes something fun and not just something that is only for men/women to pay for to visually see almost like a slave-like sexual conquest in a more negative and immodest light.

ya, it's amazing. I took a class in my hometown and fell in love with it. It's so sexy and fun and an awesome workout. It's amazing the amount of strength you nee for this. I am taking more classes, I wanna learn to do whats in the video .
