I just pulled a small portion of my Disney snow globe collection from storage today. Sitting here looking at them, I'm feeling slightly like a dork for having such an obsession with these things. I know I'm not the only one that harbors an infatuation for collecting... I guess it's just the gut feeling of knowing something will rise in value. Either way, I wanna know what all you PLers out there collect, if you do.

P.S. I'm in the process of dusting the boxes and making them presentable, as I'm considering selling some of them online, but if anyone should feel the need to see photos I can post some later. =0]

X-FILES. X-files stuff of any kind. I have the official books, figures, novels, posters, magazines and TV Guides featuring them on the cover, memorabilia from the show, autographs, trading cards, DVD's, and even tattoos (yes, I consider my two X-Files tattoos as part of my collection)!

Anime figurines. I have a few favorite japanese anime series, or video games. I try to hit up one or two conventions each year, and buy a few figures of my favorite characters from the shows. They're darling, and so look so awesome on the full wall of built-in shelves in my living room. I have a lot of anime wall scrolls also.

Unicorns. I have a modest collection of ceramic, glass, etc unicorn figures. I also have a similar collection of kitties, but they're boxed up. My unicorns on my dresser with my other girly collection: dried roses given to me on meaningful occasions

Also movie stubs... I have a huge manila folder full of stubs from movies I went to see. I dunno why, I just always end up keeping them. I find them in my wallet or pocket later, and stick it on my desk or something. Then when I clean my desk, I usually can't bring myself to throw it away, and shove it in a folder. Eventually one became THE movie stub folder.
I collect horror movie screenprinted posters. F****** expensive hobby :/
I am so boring. I collect books. I especially love older books that I find at the library book sale and my favorite used book store in Fort Bragg. They've overtaken my huge bookcase and they're spilling out everywhere! I also collect Halloween decorations. I add to my collection every year! Halloween is my favorite holiday, after all!
I collect Bicycles,
Star Wars stuff, mostly Boba Fett
Books,
Collector Barbies (started when I was very young, never opened any of my barbies)
Tattoos,
Other peoples pens,
and shoes :-)

Too much stuff, thats the problem! I mainly collect artwork, vintage monster toys, comics, all kinds of books and magazines, dunnys, and rat fink stuff. here are a few pictures...just a peek at my house full of chaos.
i suppose to be into pin up, you kinda have to have a good sense of thrifting/antiquing. I have a deep appreciation for vintage anything, got it from my dad. My father was a music collector, reel to reel, 45's, 8 track, you name it. I collect so many things. My house is a museum. My favorite collections are my classic monster stuff and my california raisins. My husband collects hot wheels and lucky 13 work tees. oh and loose change.... it every where LOL

I started collecting when I was a boy, and have collected many many things over the years. My family had an antiques shop then and I have one now (because I had too much stuff). Most recent active collections are art glass and vintage pinup calendars. I also decided to get original pinup (or hand-signed) art (and pinup artists works) as I could find them. My "PL-welcome" banner is actually a photo of an original Ted Withers that I was lucky enough to get several years ago. Building a collection is sort of like a treasure hunt and everyone likes a treasure hunt don't they?
I love antique shops.  There are sooo many cool things.  I always wonder who owned the items and where they sat or what they were used for and how much someone may have loved it.  I collect tons of random stuff.  I love things from the era of the 40's or 60's.  I guess from the era of my family. My grandparents and parents.  It's all interesting to me though.

Scale models of vintage racecars. Mostly from the '60s.
