I feel silly. I actually took the time to "apply" for dare I say, membership? Of an all dolls club. I read their site and they sounded like something I would want to be apart of. Then I thought, that's just off! Why should I have to whore myself (and HOPE to gain membership to) a club of girls with a catchy name?! Its like highschool all over again!
My reasons for trying out were with good intentions. "Single mom, faithful to friends and family, no pushover, looking for other dolls to hang out with at events, and be honest about that good look'n guy I keep drooling over."
I didn't get accepted and when I think about it, I'm glad. I hate cliques.
Have any of you ever thought of joining some form of all dolls club?

Dolls are in "jacket clubs" for many different reasons. Just as there are many different reasons not to be in one. I know friends that do great things as a group for the community and troops. Things that they may not have been able to accomplish on their own. Each bringing something unique and beneficial to the table. I don't see anything wrong with being exclusive and picky with whom you want to align yourself with. (That can go both ways too.) If you want to join a club, go for it! You'll know when you've found the right fit. Just like with any group of friends you have...the right fit means all difference.

The reality is, cliques are a way of life. They have always been there, and will probably not be going away anytime soon. I personally see nothing wrong with cliques, jacket clubs, car clubs, doll clubs, or any other type of like minded group of girls (or guys) getting together. Hang with who you like, f*ck the rest! Life is too short to waste time on people you don't like.
