I'm just curious what people actually DO for a living. Do you love your job? Did you go to school for your job? I have such a strange job, and I'm always curious to hear what people do to make money.

I work offshore, in the gulf of Mexico, on a boat. I am a Life Support Technician, Here is a picture of what my office looks like.
I work on the boat for a month and then I am off work for a month, So I only work 6 months a year.. the rest of the time is vacation.

Wow impressive ! We have an eclectic bunch of hotties here

I am currently a housewife and muse to a mad genius scientist/writer and damn good photographer. I am actually an architect who left her career to reinvent herself as an artist. I couldn't stand the the 9-5 but more than that I couldn't stand the limited vision of where I was working. I wanted to build and create Art Deco and they wanted me to build and create awful, soul less, modern, sheet glass crap that seems to be dominating the skylines of all the US cities these days. I am planning on doing pinup art along with my modeling. Currently I sell antiques and vintage hats on to supplement life here in the Bay Area.
I managed a Hot Topic store for a few years and also interned at a crime lab. Currently though I am a housewife and student. The husband joined the Navy so that kinda shook things up a bit. But I am studying Criminal Justice.
Lots and Lots of housewives, I think being a stay at home mom would drive me insane, I don't know how you ladies do it. In my time off from being offshore, I go stir crazy, one time, I watched day time television for 2 weeks straight. I had never seen the show Maury and I found myself watching it everyday and then the food network symbol was burned into my TV screen. I do alot of needlepoint in my spare time, and I must have finished 40+ projects in those 2 weeks, and then I felt like I was going to explode I was so bored.
How do you do it? what do you do to keep occupied?

I love the clothes removal line, that was really good!! haha.
I will admit that for the first year of not working I LOVED IT !! I had been to school non stop since I was 4 and then worked all my life too. When suddenly I could relax, sleep in and make the house cute I LOVED IT !! I got bored in a year and began rethinking my life and career choices. I wasn't happy doing 9-5 I am not wired that way so I decided to head back to the art world and use my education for something that I love doing, pinups ! I did far too much school already as I am an architect and I made it half way through med school before quitting to pursue architecture, I cant do the cadaver thing, I am far too girlie for all that ! In all honesty I wish I had pursued modeling at an earlier age. When I was 22 I was dumb enough to turn down an offer from Playboy, thats how seriously I took my education and career.

Part time sales assistant in a bridal shop. part time student.

at work I deal with orders, helping brides, fixing everything but the kitchen sink, display manager, buyer, shoe buyer, occasional delivery girl ect ect.
I can also be hired for bow tying on the wedding day

nothing like a simple part time job eh

I love my work. I actually told my boss that it doesnt feel like work to me, its just where I spend a few days a week. Were all really good friends at work, we go out to the pub all the time. My boss is taking us to hyde park and for dinner in a few weeks.

Plus no one cares what I dress like.
I have only been a housewife for about a year, and hope to be employed again within the next few months. I can't just stay home, I get bored too. So I started taking classes again, and learned to knit, started painting, and started a garden. I have tons of little projects in the house, just so I can pass from one thing to another throughout the day.
Hairstylist...
I am also a mommy to a very sweet, just turned 2 yr old!
It gets really boring at times!
Also it just gave me time to figure out what I really wanted to do with myself without settling. My daughter just reached an age were I could get a part time job.
So bartending is awesome and shakes my world a bit.
The fun money is a plus to support my projects i.e. family fun, photo shoots, and future business.
Photography has always caught my eye so thats something I'm looking forward to in the near future.
Also a friend and I will be doing event planning soon so watch out for Lavish Designs serving the Sacramento, Bay area and surrounding cities in 2011!!!

Hello! I work from home as a Medical Historian and Medical Records Reviewer for an internal medicine doctor. I am also a full-time Mommy and Wife!
Well, my job is pretty boring too! I work with numbers all day, I'm a bookkeeper! Didn't go to school for it though.
I'm currently a supervisor at a local target retail store. Although I wear red and khaki every single day I add my pinup Retro style with pinup curls, victory rolls, flowers and hair accessories, tight shirts and high waisted skirts, I make target attire look gooood. Right now its a easy job with decent pay but there's so many other projects and jobs I want to be apart of including opening up my own vintage clothing and accessories store, and starting my pinup modeling portolio! I also love working with animals and would dream of a career working with marine mammals, reptiles and amphibians. Xoxo
