"We Are The New Vintage"

Oh, Ms. London;
I need to talk with you. I have been incubating my new business in Monterey Bay. First, I am a retired Navy Seabee (Navy Construction). I am inspired by gals, such as Lizzie D. Vine, to serve our troops, bringing American Pinup to the Military and to Veterans. Second, I wish to include private burlesque, pinup photo service, car shows, rockabilly, vintage clothing & accessories, reproduction clothing, fundraising, and music & fun, all to support this life. More important, though, is to love on America's Finest! They offer thier lives for us. Third, I have focused on logisical work, and as a result, do not have 20 pictures of myself. I tend to forget photos.
My vision is a USO-type thing. I want to begin with military & vets in the Bay Area, and then let it expand organically. This would include, visiting military and veterans' institutions, public fundraisers, Follies for the vets and military (Bob Hope style), music events, car & motor bike shows, USO functions, collective vendor events, and radio exposure in the Bay, on a.m. 1080, KSCO, Santa Cruz. There could even be events that include student projects.
Of course, that is with all the excess time & money I have. (Uh huh)
Even if I cannot qualify for your prize, I am interested in what you offer professionally.
Hope you get some really great responses!

Hello:
Well I do not know if you have made your choice yet but I would like to submit my website. I am print model, who in the past couple of years have started to do pin up modeling. I am new to the world and have found everyone totally embracing. I have always had a fascination for old school glamour, but not always the guts to go for it. As a woman of color I wasn’t sure I could pull off the look. Earlier this year I was super happy when I found pinuplifestyle.com and everyone was so supportive and cool.
In late 2008 I asked my dad, who was a software engineer to buy me a domain. On a whim he purchased bombshellbloggers.com for me. My vision is a blog where different bombshells review everything from restaurants, to travel destinations, to drug stores. The bombshells would rate whether or not things are bombshell approved based on price, fun, and general bombshell-friendly atmosphere. I would like it to feature daily posts a weekly bombshell reader and weekly bombshell pin up shot. My dad was on board for the project but unfortunately ended up passing away from prostate cancer before he could help me complete this vision.
I shelved the project until a couple months ago when I decided to start working on the project again. I unfortunately do not know a lot about creating a website. The person I ended up hiring to do the website basically took my money and ran for it. So now my website is in limbo. It currently features an old blog I gave as a sample, not to be used and photos that are well, not “bombshell approved.” Even if you do not pick me I’d love to hear from you and maybe get rates for a website redo. Also as a tribute to my dad I would like to have a section where people can donate to American Cancer Society.

Hey Georgi,
First off, I am sorry for the loss of your father. Second of all, I can't stand people that take another's money and run with it. i like where you are going with your site from your description of what you want. I will be holding this post open for another week, just to see what other people apply. We can definitely work together on something and get your site looking the way you want it. I have my own blog site which works great for me. It seems as though that's what you're interested in having incorporated within your site. This is very feasible and the design would look great too. I will for sure email you either today or tomorrow to get more info from you. thanks -Aubrey
