How did you decide on your "Pinup" name?

I LOVE all the names people come up with. Just wondering how you landed on the name you are currently using.

It's no great story, but my friend who is also pin-up just called me Lady K one day and I thought it was cool.

my name is KARLY...
when i started working at a punk rock pub 6-7 years ago, EVERYONE called me KARLY SUE...
i still get called KARLY SUE...

when i got into pinup i knew my name had to be personal, and i knew i didnt want to have my pinup name same as my real name.... i LOVE LOVE LOVE vintage soda ads, so SODA SHOP SUE was perfect!!!!

haha, well i speaka da troof! i have martini's tattooed on my wrist to prove it! plus i've bartended for a few years and that kinda adds in on the blackout.

You're name is adorable! though not everyone is "hiding" behind an alias....some of us simply do it because...well....guys can be creepy stalkers whom you would rather not KNOW your real name.... LOL!

Tessa is my actual first name in "real life". I liked how Tessa The Taunt rolled off the tongue, and to make it seem more like an actual name, Tessa LeTaunt was then created. I've considered changing my stage name a few times, although I don't think I could ever go on to do so. I like that I really AM Tessa, and don't have to hide behind an alias.

Well, when I met my boyfriend he could not remember my name. He always makes up nicknames for people he meets. So he called me Mandible (to remember the name Mandy) and said it worked well because I talked so much. ha!

Soon enough, it just became Miss Mandible.
