What is your preffred lighting source when shooting in studios?

Alien Bee's, Mounted Strobes?

Alright, different question for those who chose to answer.

580 EXII
430 EX

What do i need to make this work for a studio setup? Should i consider getting something else other then the "strobes". Or could some wireless triggers, and a softbox work for me? Could i remote trigger the flashes into a reflective umbrella and get the soft good light? So i would need to buy a umbrella, trigger, mount?

Also very interested in beauty dishes if anyone has any insite on those.

I'm a natural light lover for boudoir but I'm working on learning my Alien Bees. The plan is to follow Zach Arias' lead for the background lighting and then to use my giant softbox with my AB800 as the main light with a 72" reflector opposite. I haven't tested the theory yet.

I'd definitely do a wireless trigger, the cord used to drive me nuts...so glad I spent those bucks. HTH
