Favorite Book

When I go to bed at night I always need a couple of good chapters to rest my head for the night and stop my brain from thinking of the to do list that is piling up at the house, I just finished reading all of the True Blood books and now I need a new read.

So I was wondering what is your favorite read right now?

I love the Southern Vampire novels written by Charlaine Harris. I'm not a fan of the HBO series they made about them.. it's rubbish... BUT the books are wonderful. I fell in love with each and every character.

I also really like the book, A Clockwork Orange. but don't attempt to read it if you have a short attention span. it has it's own language of slang and what not.

I'm into my historical novels so I like Elizabeth Chadwick or Tracey Chavilier (she wrote "The Girl With The Pearl Earing") but I know they aren't for most people, aha! Other than that I love the classics in English Literature so Jane Austen, Shakespeare, Shelley. Ooh and poetry! I love poetry too!

If you haven't read them yet, any of Christopher Moore's books make for a fantastic read! Most of his books are relatively short, but they are laugh out loud funny! If you share your bed with someone they might want you to stifle the giggles, but it's worth it! If you enjoy books with a vampire theme then I recommend starting out with Blood Sucking Fiends. Or if you want something completely different I also recommend "Lamb, The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal." Its insanely clever and completely hilarious!

Ok so I bought 3 books this weekend. One is The girl with the dragon tattoo by Stieg Larsson

then LA Candy by Lauren Conrad (its the gossip girl in me lol )

and then I bought Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.
