I'm getting this tattoo on my wrist, but I'm insecure about some details.
Would you guys choose design 1 or design 2.
And would you choose for full color, black or only the aureole in lightyellow (wings and lettering in black lines)?

I would go with design 2 and get all black with only the halo in yellow. Personally though I think if your torn and can't decide, you should hold off a little longer. When it comes to tattoos its there forever. You don't want any regrets. I always carry a design with me for 6 months or more. I look at it everyday to make sure that is in fact what I want. I have a few that I wish I hadn't gotten or would have done differently in my younger days. I learned from those. You don't want any insecurities when it comes to getting ink.
I would definitely go with design 2 and I would do it all black. Tattoos are such are hard decision to make and often stress me out. But I absolutely love them!!
I would go for No 2 personally. But as the others have said, If your unsure hold off!
If you really really want the text and its the wings that you aren't sure about, just get the text and add the wings later.
Nice idea about the writing then the wings! By the way, what does the writing mean? It intrigues me...

If it were me, I would choose No 2! Give it time and make sure that you decide on what you really want!
As a tattoo artist, here's my input...

You say it's going on your wrist, so I'm assuming you mean the inside of your wrist. It could be the outside, but either way I'd say that to fit that lettering on your wrist in a manner that's actually going to hold up over time it will have to be decently sized (most likely going all the way across your wrist). This leaves the wings actually on the sides of your wrists. This being the case I would personally have the wings pointing upward (like in fig. #1), but drawn more in the style of Figure #2. The wings in Figure #1 look a bit too rough to be very angelic for this type of tattoo.

If you try to fit the entire image from wingtip to wingtip onto just the inside (or outside) of your wrist the lettering will be so small that within a few years it most likely won't be too legible anymore and you'll be looking for a cover-up.

I think the color is a personal preference and that you should decide that for yourself. It could be a nice tattoo either way if it's executed well.
'This is Greek, and i am Greek! It says "angel"

It's a tribute to my mother.
I have my tattoo for a week and a half now, I chose design NO 3. (not online here)
