Where do you buy your clothes for shoots an what not?

Hey everybody

Ive been wondering where do you shop for cute vintage clothing when your on a budget? I currently live in Van Nuys, Ca an I dont do internet shopping because I like to try it on an see if its worth the buy.

Actually I've had really great luck on ebay. You may not always get vintage but you can get modern retro clothing. Also name brand stuff such as dixie fried and other pin up brands. If you watch closely you can get great deals!!! Also Bernie Dexter has a great ebay shop her items normally start at $10 this includes vintage and non vintage items. You can't go wrong!

Thrift stores are great, as everyone has said. And altering clothes isn't difficult if you're SMALLER than the size you bought. It can be a bit difficult to alter clothing to fit you if you're a bit more curvy (like me) If you can get darts and gathers down, though, you're good to go!

I have a couple local shops that I go to but the value is thrifting althought it's getting harder and harder to find good stuff and garage saling for accessories. go to the 55+ communities. none of their kids want their 'old things' and estate sales...

Oh honey believe me, there are no shops that can offer you such variety as the internet stores.

There's nothing wrong with internet shopping.

I'm from Greece and i never buy from the local stores, i only do internet shopping from the States.

If you double check your measurements and read carefully the description, you will have no problems.
