Faux stocking seam lines using ribbon.

As I just posted on my blog, I embellished a pair of thigh high stockings with a simple ribbon running up the back. It's an easy project, requiring only a hot glue gun, and helps add on to any costume piece. Thought I'd share. =0]

If anyone should want me to make a tutorial of this, I surely will. Just ask. =0D

How did you actually fix the ribbons?

I put a folded bandanna inside the stocking as I worked, so the glue would stick to it, rather than getting stuck to the other side of the hosiery. Starting from the top of the stocking, I just worked my way down until I'd glued a straight line of ribbon down to approximately where my ankle would be. If that makes sense. =0/
I made the bows separate and hot glued them on.

Thanks guys! Although I bought these as they are, another idea is to have individual bows running up the back, as if to create a faux seam. =0D
