alright, i came across this on a friends page, she is friends with the person who discovered this disgusting ordeal. i had no idea where to post this, wasn't sure if it would be considered food and drink or what, so i thought here might be okay.

have you guys drank, or do you drink, capris sun? (particularly the apple flavor) you might want to reconsider after reading and seeing this.

this is incredibly gross! they aren't sure what it is. some speculate that it's skin. what kind of skin, you ask? the skin of an apple? maybe......human skin!!!!? EWW!

upon further examination, they believe it might be a human eyeball! she is still waiting on the lab test results to come back and confirm everything.

haha, sorry, didn't want to scar you, but thought you should know. that's just crazy to me. i mean, how exactly does one lose an eye in a beverage factory? (if it IS and eye) what kind of machines do they have there, that would cause someone to lose an eye??? baffles me really, i mean i know accidents happen, like freak ones, but an eye?? really?? how does that happen?? and if it was an eye, the factory worker had to of been noticeable, seeing as how she/he lost an eye! you would think that they would ask "so, where's your eye, what happened to it?", so it kinda freaks me out, cause surely if that were the case, than they knew that it was floating around somewhere out there in recently manufactured product :/, you think they would at least try to warn someone, cause they had to of known (if it really was/is an eyeball of course).

i can totally see a commercial for it of some suited guy with a huge cheesy salesman grin as he says those very words "Capris Sun With Prize Inside! One you'll never forget!" while holding a dissected pack of capris sun in one hand, and in the other a human eyeball. GROSS!!! lol

Barf. Good thing I don't drink that drink, but I'm still going to be checking my fluids for solids. Assuming this is a piece of a person, I know how this sort of thing could have happened, factories are HELLA dangerous, accidents happen all the time and are usually kept quiet from the general public. My spouse once had to deal with a kid who lost his arm at a Pillsbury factory. He was trying to realign the dough (as it had been put on the conveyor belt improperly) and the thing pulled him in and he lost him arm up to his shoulder. My man showed up at home early from work covered in blood and shaking like a leaf. He was traumatized and had nightmares for weeks, never went back to work there again! But that's nothing in comparison to how that kid went home that day ;(

OMG i just clicked that link, that is quite honestly the most disgusting picture i have ever seen. It actually could be connected, which is an alarming thought, but not as alarming as thinking these things happen a lot.
If it was an eye that was in the first then this picture could easily be some of the veins and things that hold the eye into the socket. It seriously worries me though, like you said that the product wasn't recalled and that AT LEAST two people have found something.
