This was in the old forum, but I'm bringing it back.  What's your favorite alcoholic drink? 

When I'm chillin (or playing caps or A**h***), I like beer - Bud Light, Newcastle, Guinness.

When I'm feeling girly, I like sex on the beach, midori sour, or purple hooters.

When I want to get effed up, it's all about the Jagermeister!

So, what's your poison?

I'm a pirate at heart so I'm a rum girl, myself. In fact... one of my friends and I have made it our personal mission to find out how to audition to become Morganettes at some point this summer. :)

You really should! And a strawberry one is even better - it just has the same ingredients but also has strawberry puree/juice as well

Absinthe! I'm an absinthe girl. I also sometime like Sapphire and tonics w/ a little bit of lime but. For my 25th bday party we had 1920's themed jazz Absinthe party! Pernot is the best!

Beer - I like Blue Moon with an orange slice, or most wheat/hef beers and Pabst.

Mixed drinks - Margarita...the TRADITONAL ones, on the rocks with good teqiula. (El Jimador)

Hard liquor - Jamieson or Bushmills Irish Whiskey - straight up, top shelf tequilas, Glenfiddich scotch with water/ice ....and my favorite right now is Sailor Jerry (or any) spiced rum and cola.

If you're into rum, there's a place you should check out. If you live in the San Francisco area or have a chance to visit, there's the Rumbustion Society. They've got all sorts of exotic rums and rum cocktails. I think there's even a membership society you can join for sampling a certain number of rums! You might enjoy it. A good Reisling, Ace Pear Cider, Frambois, Raspberry Long Islands/Grateful Deads, Sailor Jerry Rum & Vernors Ginger Ale. My gallbladder can't handle beer too well, but I do like Newcastle.
