We want to support all of the beautiful PL girls in the pageant, but if everyone makes their own thread, it might make it more difficult to keep up on who has entered.

So, if you are in the pageant, please post your name here. That way we have all our fabulous girls in one place!

I have 4 email addresses and plan to use all of them, that's 16 votes, and they will all be going to PL girls!! I'm sure others will do the same!

On the Ink N Iron voting page it states: "Hello Pin-Up Gals,
Voting will continue till May 15th at which time the 12 finalists to go on stage will receive notification."
BUT...the girls were all notified today of the top 12 finalists. We all knew that this contest is completely rigged, but they could have at least waited until the "voting" period was over.
Rigged or not, here are the top 12

1. Miss Jenna
2. Miss Mimi La Minx
3. Miss Kandy K
4. Miss Christine Fury
5. Miss Amy
6. Miss Mary Jane
7. Miss Gia Genevieve
8. Miss Megan Renee
9. Miss Ruby Rockit
10. Miss Julie Bolene
11. Miss Shaina Doll
12. Miss Angelita

To the 12 finalists.
It's a shame they didn't follow their own guidelines, but these ladies don't deserve the rain on their parade. Congrats to the finalists! Thanks for sharing, Kandy. See you there! :)

I don't want to rain on their parade, but it is a little premature, according the their own rules and dealine. It just seems weird.
I thought the same thing when I received the email with the finalists' names. I emailed Trace to ask. He said

"The voting was very clear as to who the top twelve finalists would be. Also, we have a finalist from Europe, and to be fair to her and her pocket book, we pulled it a week early.
I hope you can understand.
Thank you again for your participation.
Respectfully,
Trace Edwards"

How is a week either way going to change the effect on her pocketbook? She knew she had submitted for the Pageant, and she knew what date was posted as the end of voting. She should have a plan in place IF she was voted as a finalist. It's a ridiculous reason. And, as a contestant in the first round myself, I would have appreciated an email stating that the voting would be ended early BEFORE it was ended.

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade, I certainly don't care one way or the other about the results, but this is another example of the shenanigans that accompany voting contests. We have complained so many times about blatant cheating, rigged results, etc, etc, that it is tainting the fun and spirit of pinup contests.

I have to agree, when expectations aren't met (like the May 15th deadline) people are going to be disappointed. And I agree with the comments regarding Trace's response to ending it early. What I read about the contest being rigged, I don't agree with.

I was a contestant in 2008 and returned in 2009 to judge the contest. I can tell you first hand that the contest was legitimate. We voted using a number system, I tallied the numbers myself, then Trace double checked my math before a winner was announced.

As for the top 12 being hand picked from the pool of entries, I remember the rules clearly stating that the voting only assists the organizers in picking their top 12. So it is their choice who the gals will be, after all it is their show. I'm not opposed to that myself, as I like when pinup contests aren't treated like popularity contests. Again, setting expectations are key.

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that from my behind the scenes perspective, this contest is not rigged. Ending the voting process early however; is not fair to those that had the expectation that the voting would continue through the 15th.

Xx
sweet lil lady I agree with you. Ultimately its ink-n-irons pageant and they are gong to pick who they want. Rock on lets not dwell on it and just have fun time and ink-n-iron!!<3
I totally understand what you are saying, Lisa. If a contest is going to pick who is going to be on stage, great! It IS their contest. However, they should not have online voting, especially when the process has such a large glitch in it.
I might as well put in my two cents.....CONGRATULATIONS to EVERY PINUP LADY weather or not they made it into the pageant. It takes a lot of courage to put oneself out their. I agree with Lisa it's Ink N Irons contest, but Online voting seems to be a waste if their are going to be the one's choosing the winners. Seems to me it's a way to get the word out about the event. Knowing the the models are going to be calling everyone they know to get votes. In order to vote you need to provide emails. SO welcome event spam. so in the end the winner is Ink and Iron....Ehh but like Amelia said Rock On and have fun at the event. I'll be their either way to hang out with the PL Peeps!
I agree with everyone, though I do think voting is a bit unnecessary if the choice is ultimately made by the promoters. I'm not saying that it's rigged, but if the final choices push out a girl (and don't kid yourselves, they will if the promoters have a lineup they'd prefer over the one determined by votes) then it's unfair to the girl who worked hard to get those votes. I think it's an unfair system.

I hate having to post that I'm in a contest and ask for votes... it's not fun. I am very grateful to the people who cared enough to vote for me, it's not something everyone will do.

I think it could have been better handled. After 5 months of voting, I think we deserved more after working hard to get traffic to the Ink-n-Iron website.
