So right now we dont have a lot of money, so this year for mothers day we made something simple A Hand Bouquet. just take a look at the pic and you see what i mean. You need:

constrution paper of any kind ( I used scrapbook paper from the craft store)

glue

ribbion

pipe cleaner- chenille stems

childs hand or even yours ( i used my little girls hand and traced it)

just because you are old now, dont think mom would'nt like to have something hand made from you. When was the last time you made a craft for your mom on mothers day or for those dad's who have no idea what the kids can make, its better than real flowers and these ones wont die on you. Hope this helps and i had fun doing it.

that's adorable! we are pretty strapped this year so we can't really afford to get our moms anything either. we are gonna work on making them something tonight. last year my mom's mothers day gift was getting a granddaughter, lol. i had just had Beth around the time, she is 13 months now, so this will be my second mother's day. i can't wait 'til she gets old enough to make cute little arts and crafts things for such events, i used to do that all the time for my mom. it could be the saddest, pathetic looking little thing ever and moms love it cause it's made with love, lol.
