Sports girl PinUp

[Violet Absinthe]

Ok....most people tell me sports and pinups dont go together. However I believe pinup is all about expressing yourself. So I am now looking for some ideas on doing shoots in sports attire. For starters I am thinking a jersey of the Dallas Cowboys with maybe a garter and stockings.....tell me what you think and if any of you have any other ideas!!!! I for one think it would be fun to do since I havent seen anything like it. Thanks everyone!!

damn right sports and pinups can go together. 1950's naughty cheerleaders. girls in basketball outfits with knee socks and short short"holding basketball like traditional beach ball photos'. pinups are all about gorgeous girls having fun in nearly nothing, right? so what about locker room "oops you caught me in the shower after practice" kind of shoot, or a soccer shoot with grass stains on a wife beater tank and sporty undies with shin gards? its possible is all im saying. good luck

Looks like it just takes minimal elements of the sport, maybe the black under the eyes, a football, high socks and cleats or somethin..

I was thinking about this, too!!! :)
I always wanted to design something like a golf or a cheerleader pin up outfit. And of course I will have to shoot these outfits then. So I'm also excited about what ideas you guys come up with! :)

I say the jersey and the skates over your shoulder....hockey stick in hand... or as maybe kinda like the pics posted by Coca-Cola Lover....you wearing the jersey lying in a cute pose stick, gloves and skates surrounding you. Anything can work!!

I know this is an old discussion, but I think it's worth re-visiting!  Sports and pinups can totally go together!  What about those sassy roller derby girls?

That's just one example. You could take any sport and incorporate it into pinup.
