Dying my hair

Right now my hair is a really dark brown, almost black. But I get tired of it easily and I've had it the same way for awhile now. So to spice it up I've been thinking of dying parts of it. 

I would like to know peoples' opinions of what part of my hair and color. 

At the moment I'm thinking:

-part of my bangs and a strip next to my ear and/or a strip in the back 

- dark dark redish brown, blue (I know it can fade to grey), or a lighter brown

I would go for part of the bangs and a strip. You could do a million different ways from color to the place, that's what is so great about dying your hair! I Have dyed my hair in almost every color and in every place possible. It all depends how much you want to show. Some pee-a-boo ones are cool. I left a strip in front of my hair, kinda hidden, so that when I do a victory-roll, you can see a strip of purple right in the middle. You can think about different hair designs, what you do on an everyday bases, and have the dye reflect that.

You could also do just underneath or have two strips in front, framing the face, or random strips here or there. I like to have color where it's easy to access so I can re-dye it with manic panic myself.

A deep red would look cool too!

ok first of all you are so pretty! second, i'd probably do the part in your bangs, i was thinking of doing that and also a strip like Lady K said, for when you do victory rolls you can see it. that's an idea too.

So, after sometime I decided to dye my hair a very dark red and then about 2 weeks later I bleached part of my bangs and a stripe next to my left ear. For now this is just temporary I think because in a week or so I think I'm gonna dye the bleached part red or blue.
