We all love the Glamorous looks of the the 40's, 50's and 60's. Movie stars, models, pin up girls, etc., but for most of us, we can't dress like that every day. So lets find some pictures of everyday people, in casual-wear, to draw everyday inspiration from.

A few to get started:

Coincidentally, this is in Reminisce Magazine this month:

WARTIME TOUR. “In spring of 1944, these Southwestern Bell long-distance phone operators, including me, rented bicycles to tour the city of Hutchinson, Kansas, on their day off from work,” says Mae Stiggins Boggs of South Hutchinson. “One of our stops was at this Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Monument, which still stands at East First Avenue and North Walnut Street. I’m in front, and the others are (from left) Lucille Tucker Patterson, Shirley Lindenburger Huston and Alta Mae Hodges Loutheridge. The monument was erected in 1918 as a memorial to all fighting men of the Union Army’s four branches in the Civil War. On the top is a statue of Abraham Lincoln, and around the bottom are statues of a sailor, an artilleryman, an infantryman and a cavalryman. It was a perfect place to show our patriotism during World War II.
The below is also from this month's Reminisce Magazine:

This is my family leaving the Clark Air Force Base terminal in the Philippines in the spring of 1966. Check out the fashions of the time. In the back, wearing the yellow dress, is our daughter Linda. Next, from the left, are daughters Cynthia and Sandra; me, holding daughter Lisa’s hand; daughter Donna; and my husband, George H. Collie. George and I had three tours in the Philippines and have been married more than 60 years.
